Overwhelming response to Navi Mumbai Shikshan Sankul camp

Around 9000 people benefit form issue of free certificates
Navi Mumbai Shikshan Sankul in association with the Thane Tehsildar office had organized a one day camp on May 22 to issue various certificates that are required for admissions in colleges, for jobs and businesses and official work. The camp started form 8 am to 5 pm at Sector 12, Terna Engineering College in Nerul benefitted around 9,000 people.
Thane District Colector Abha Jarhad said, “There was overwhelming response to the first camp held in Koperkhairne on May 3. Hence we organized another camp and we are planning similar events in other parts of the region.”
The state government has taken a note of the event organized by the Sankul headed by MLA Sandeepji Naik. “From next year onwards this event will take place in nine nodes of Navi Mumbai.” Declared Thane Guardian Minister Ganeshji Naik.
Caste, non-creamy layer, income, age, domicile and nationality certificates were issued at the camp. Caste and non-creamy layer certificates will be issued after 15 days at Turbhe Tahsildar office. At the camp proper guidance was provide by the officers and citizens got their certificates without facing any trouble.
Said MLA Sandeepji Naik, “The need for certificates is huge and the common man finds it very difficult to get them at times as various documents are required and he has to run form pillar to post. We made the task easy for the residents and ensured all work under one roof.”
Concluded Naik, “This year we had to hold two camps due to the overwhelming response. Form next year, there will be several more such camps.”
Said Shishir Shinde, a student, “This camp has proved to be a boon for me. I was short of time and it has helped meget the certificates I will now require for admission to professional colleges.
